This marks that our hospital can formally carry out donor sperm IVF and donor sperm artificial insemination techniques from now on, which brings good news to the majority of azoospermia patients and male genetic defect patients. With the increase of environmental pollution and the pressure of people’s life, the incidence of infertility is also increasing. Infertility brings people not only mental pain, but also many social and family problems, becoming a very discordant note in a harmonious society. Before this review, our center has formally carried out IVF, artificial insemination and other fertility techniques, which have enabled many infertile couples to fulfill their dreams of having a child, and the development of this artificial insemination technique will help more azoospermia patients to solve their fertility problems. The so-called donor insemination refers to the use of sperm from the sperm bank to carry out artificial insemination for the female partner in the case of azoospermia in the male partner or the male partner’s sperm is unusable (e.g., serious genetic diseases). The applicable groups of donor insemination are as follows: 1. Absolute male infertility; 2. Genetic diseases in the male partner; 3. Couples with severe mother-child blood group incompatibility due to special blood groups that have not been effectively treated, such as RH blood group or ABO blood group incompatibility, and so on.
