How are gliomas treated?

       Glioma is also known as glioblastoma, or glioma for short. Clinical manifestations include headache, vomiting, optic papilledema and other symptoms of increased intracranial pressure and limited nerve damage.  They originate from interneural glia, ventricular canal, choroid plexus epithelium, neurons, etc. The cause is still unknown, accounting for about 40% of intracranial tumors. It is more common in males and can occur at different ages.  So far, glioma treatment is usually based on surgery, supplemented by radiotherapy + chemotherapy, with varying efficacy depending on the degree of malignancy.
