The dietary regimen for patients with nephrotic syndrome should pay attention to: 1. low-salt diet: salt intake should be limited to 3g/day, and those with severe swelling and poor diuretic effect should consume salt-free diet; 2. appropriate supplementation of high-quality protein: 1.5g/(kg-d) protein diet can be given in the early stage of nephrotic syndrome; for patients with chronic nephrotic syndrome, protein should be controlled at 1.0g/(kg-d) to avoid causing kidney burden; 3. Low-fat diet: avoid high-fat foods such as animal offal and animal fats, and properly consume vegetable oils with multichain unsaturated fatty acids; 4. Diet should be light and easy to digest, avoid spicy, stimulating and greasy foods; 5. Pay attention to rest and avoid colds.
