Liver cancer is the most common malignant tumor of the liver, which is mainly caused by hepatitis B virus infection or aflatoxin damage to liver cells. As an important organ of human body, the main functions of liver are synthesizing human blood albumin, synthesizing coagulation factors, synthesizing and secreting bile, and detoxifying function. Therefore, the dietary requirements for liver cancer patients are high-protein and low-fat food, and avoid greasy, spicy and stimulating food, which may increase the burden of gastrointestinal tract and cause patients’ discomfort. As high-protein and low-fat food, fish is perfectly fine for liver cancer patients to eat. However, when liver cancer patients eat fish, they should mainly steam it and avoid using spicy and stimulating seasonings to avoid aggravating the burden of gastrointestinal tract and causing abdominal discomfort.
