When is menopause considered normal for women

Most women undergo menopause between the ages of 45 and 55, with an average age of 49 and a half years, but the exact age varies from person to person, and clinically, menopause after the age of 40 is normal. Menopause below 40 years old is called premature ovarian failure and requires necessary treatment, while menopause over 53 years old is called delayed menopause and menopause after 55 years old is late menopause. Due to the decrease in estrogen levels during this process, a series of menopausal syndromes can occur, including hot flashes, sweating, and emotional instability. If there is no contraindication to take medication, estrogen and progestin replacement therapy can be given to make menstruation come. If menopause does not occur at the age of 53, disease can be ruled out and active examination is required. Women are advised to develop good habits in daily life and avoid excessive smoking and drinking. It is also important to maintain a good mood, which can play a supportive role in maintaining ovarian function.
