Is urine routine normal for non-gonococcal urethritis

Usually there is some abnormality in the urine routine of patients with non-gonococcal urethritis, and usually there may be an increase in white blood cells or even the presence of red blood cells in the urine routine. Non-gonococcal urethritis is an inflammatory infection of the mucosa of the urethra caused by pathogens, and this inflammatory infection can lead to an increase in white blood cells in the urine. If there is significant damage to the mucous membrane of the urethra, there may even be an increase in red blood cells in the urine, or red urine, blood in the urine, or even blood clots. Patients with non-gonococcal urethritis usually experience a significant improvement in urinary routine abnormalities with a decrease in white and red blood cells after sensitive anti-infection treatment. In addition, a urine culture in patients with non-gonococcal UTI is useful to help clarify the pathogen causing the infection and select the appropriate anti-infective medication.
