Male patient, 50 years old, with a primary cause of progressive vision loss for more than 1 year, accompanied by headache and dizziness for half a month. The patient was clearly conscious, fluent in speech, and tangential in replies. The visual acuity of both eyes on the coarse side was 10 cm in front of the eyes, with temporal hemianopia in the bilateral visual field and unrestricted eye movement. The bilateral pupils were equal in size and round, about 2.5 mm in diameter, and sensitive to light reflex. Pre-operative findings: After admission, the craniotomy was performed under general anesthesia after completing various tests. The postoperative pathology was reported as craniopharyngioma. Postoperative MRI showed complete resection of the tumor.
