In the afternoon of June 21, the third meeting of the Hunan Provincial Prostate Cancer Treatment Cooperative Alliance and the E-Case Symposium on Prostate Cancer was successfully held in Changsha, led by the Department of Urology of our hospital. Professor He Le Ye, the chief of Urology Department, gave a welcome speech and chaired the meeting. As the most prevalent male genitourinary tumor, prostate cancer is a hot issue of great concern to clinicians in terms of standardized diagnosis, individualized treatment, prognosis assessment and long-term management. In this conference, we used the “Prostate Cancer Treatment Cooperative Alliance” as a platform for academic exchange, and for the first time in our province, we used the “Prostate Cancer Case Simulation App (iOS version)” software to simulate all aspects of prostate cancer treatment, and digitally present the different clinical progress due to different treatment plans. The app is the first of its kind in the province to simulate all aspects of prostate cancer treatment, and to digitally present the entire process of different clinical progress due to different treatment plans, or the need for repeat treatment. Through interactive debate and discussion, selective progress analysis and individualized treatment plan selection, more than ten clinical front-line physicians from more than ten tertiary hospitals in the province experienced the charm and highlights of the “Electronic Prostate Cancer Simulation App”. The “Prostate Cancer Treatment Cooperative Alliance” has brought about the advantages and benefits of sharing resources for diagnosis and treatment and technological innovation. ”The Prostate Cancer Treatment Cooperative Alliance is the first spontaneous medical cooperative organization for prostate cancer treatment, led by Professor He Leye of the Department of Urology of our hospital, and jointly established with more than 20 tertiary hospitals in the province, to discuss hot issues in prostate cancer treatment, diagnosis and treatment standards, scientific follow-up and data collection. The first spontaneous medical cooperative organization for prostate cancer treatment was established by urology departments of top hospitals in China. More than 30 colleagues from the province participated in this meeting, and the conference chairman, Prof. He Le Ye, commented on each session. Through the analysis and discussion of this new interactive platform based on digitalization and mobile internet, everyone agreed that it was very rewarding and achieved the purpose of establishing the “Prostate Cancer Treatment Cooperative Alliance”, which promoted the progress of prostate cancer treatment in our province and better benefited the patients.
