The incidence of impotence is exaggerated

Today is the fifth National Men’s Health Day, Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City and district level family planning departments and some large hospitals, pharmacies are in the men’s clinic activities, the reporter interview was informed that the past four years has been used by bad pharmaceutical companies and clinics to promote the impotence, the actual artificial exaggerated data, or cited foreign information, the Chinese people so far do not belong to their own “impotence The incidence of impotence”. The person in charge of the Provincial Population and Family Planning Commission revealed this morning at the Beijing Road clinic site that a global, interracial and interregional research project on male erectile dysfunction (ED, commonly known as “impotence” in Chinese) will be launched in China in November, the study involving 11 countries on three continents is by far the most extensive worldwide survey on impotence. This study, which involves 11 countries on 3 continents, is the most extensive survey of impotence in the world to date, and China has recently been officially included in the study, while before that, China did not have its own epidemiological survey data on impotence, mostly taken from the United States or a small sample of localized surveys in China. The first Men’s Health Day was held on October 28, 2000, and according to the theme of that year, the promotion of men’s health nationwide began with impotence. At that time, information showed that at least 100 million men worldwide suffered from varying degrees of impotence, and more than 52% of men over the age of 40 were afflicted with impotence, of which the most common was moderate impotence, accounting for 25%; followed by mild impotence, accounting for 17%, and complete impotence, accounting for 10%. The reporter confirmed from the family planning and medical system, the incidence of impotence in men over 40 years of age data from the United States, and 100 million men worldwide impotence is based on the incidence of the United States conversion projection. Dr. Zhang Bin, who was at the Zhongshan Hospital clinic this morning, said that there is both excessive and insufficient publicity on impotence. On the one hand, manufacturers of aphrodisiac drugs and supplements and unregulated small clinics continue to occupy advertising space for exaggerated propaganda, while on the other hand, regular hospitals and experts have a low appearance rate and are unable to deliver the correct information to patients.
