Uterine fibroid surgery hospitalization days

The length of stay for fibroid surgery is usually about 7 days, but the exact length may vary. Uterine fibroid surgery is generally divided into open surgery and minimally invasive surgery. The hospitalization time for open surgery may reach about 10 days, while for minimally invasive surgery, you can usually be discharged in 5 days. Before the surgery of uterine fibroids, pre-operative tests such as gynecological ultrasound, cervical TCT, HPV, blood test for liver function, hepatitis B five, electrocardiogram, etc. are needed to perfect the pre-operative preparation and then schedule the surgery at a later date. For open surgery, the postoperative fasting time is slightly longer and the recovery time of intestinal function is also longer, while for minimally invasive surgery, due to the small trauma, the postoperative recovery is faster and you can normally get out of bed and eat on the second day after surgery, and the hospitalization time is relatively shorter. In short, whether open or minimally invasive fibroid surgery is performed, it takes about 1 month to recover after surgery.
