Liver cancer patients can eat moderate amount of beef. Beef, fish and prawns are high-quality animal protein, rich in protein and minerals, which are very beneficial to the nutritional supplement of tumor patients, but the following two points should be noted in the supplement: 1. The daily intake of animal protein should be moderate, because 80% of liver cancer patients occur on the basis of cirrhosis, and the liver detoxification and metabolic functions of cirrhosis patients are obviously reduced. Eating excessive high-protein food is likely to cause increased protein decomposition and ammonia toxicity, leading to the occurrence of hepatic encephalopathy. 2. Make beef soft and rotten, preferably stewed beef or beef soup, because patients mostly have portal hypertensive gastropathy and esophagus-fundus varices. Encourage patients to eat soft, digestible foods, drink more milk and soy products to supplement proteins, along with soft and rotten fruits and vegetables to strengthen the intestinal nutrition.
