How to prevent and treat chronic kidney disease?

Chronic kidney disease has become a serious threat to human health, with almost 1 in 10 people in the world suffering from chronic kidney disease. Chronic kidney disease is characterized by high prevalence, high rate of combined cardiovascular disease and high mortality rate, as well as low awareness rate, low prevention and treatment rate and low awareness rate of combined cardiovascular disease. Chronic kidney disease mainly includes chronic glomerular disease, tubulointerstitial disease, renal vascular disease, hereditary kidney disease and kidney damage secondary to systemic diseases. In China, primary glomerular diseases are mainly common, but due to lifestyle changes and population aging, the incidence of diabetic nephropathy and hypertensive renal small arteriosclerosis has increased significantly. The clinical manifestations of chronic kidney disease are proteinuria, hematuria, edema, hypertension, and abnormal renal function. Most patients often have no conscious symptoms or fewer symptoms in the early stage, and as the disease progresses, fatigue, weakness, puffiness of eyelids and face, edema of lower limbs, large amount of foam in urine, and increased nocturia may appear. When symptoms such as the above appear, especially in patients with diabetes and hypertension for many years, they should go to the hospital for examination immediately or regularly. Chronic kidney disease generally has a long and complicated course. Patients and relatives should actively cooperate with nephrologists in the long struggle with the disease, rational use of drugs, and regular review. Specific prevention and control measures are: 1. Adjustment of lifestyle: quit smoking, weight control, limit salt intake. Daily water consumption should be limited when edema is obvious. When renal function is impaired, a high-quality low protein, high calcium and low phosphorus diet is recommended. 2, active treatment of underlying diseases: for primary primary kidney disease or autoimmune kidney disease, hormones or immunosuppressants should be used as prescribed by the doctor if necessary; secondary to diabetes, hypertension and other chronic diseases of kidney damage, the first should actively control the primary disease, control blood sugar and blood pressure. 3, strict control of hypertension: sustained and effective control of hypertension, lowering blood pressure to the standard, is one of the main factors in reversing or delaying the progression of chronic kidney disease. Prefer angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) or angiotensin receptor antagonist (ARB) with renal protection and reduce urinary protein effect to lower blood pressure, and should be good at the same time. 4.Effectively reduce proteinuria, correct hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia. 5, symptomatic treatment for complications. According to Chinese medicine, the kidney is the root of the innate nature, hiding the true yin and the true yang, should be hidden but not drained, so the kidney system diseases are mostly seen in deficiency symptoms. Most physicians believe that the pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease is characterized by “positive deficiency and evil reality” and “original deficiency and symptomatic reality”, and that positive deficiency is caused by external evil attack, diet and fatigue, or chronic disease, resulting in damage to positive energy, mainly manifested by deficiency of the lungs, spleen and kidneys. The main manifestation is the deficiency of the lung, spleen and kidney, and even the five viscera are involved. The deficiency of positive energy leads to unfavorable flow of qi, blood and water, resulting in water-dampness, damp-heat, blood stasis and poisonous evil. The deficiency of the two are mutually exclusive, resulting in chronic kidney disease that is difficult to heal. Chinese medicine treatment of chronic kidney disease is based on the basic principles of Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment, according to the characteristics of the patient’s clinical symptoms, or benefit qi and nourish yin, or percolate water-damp, or attack and expel water-drink, or remove stasis and turbidity, with different emphasis on the use of drugs. The clinical use of poria, zedoary, carthamus, atractylodes, coix seeds, etc. to percolate water-damp; astragalus, ginseng, yam, raw earth, etc. to benefit the qi and nourish yin; chasteberry, wolfberry, bone marrow, etc. to benefit the liver and kidney; scorpion, silkworm, etc. to dispel wind and open the ligament; cherry, gorgonian, Wu Wei Zi, dragon bone, oyster, etc. to astringent and solid astringent. At the same time can also be combined with acupuncture, acupuncture point injection therapy, mostly moisture, Qihai, Sanjiao Yu, foot Sanli main points, with the lung Yu, Hegu, Spleen Yu, Kidney Yu, Yinlingquan, etc.. When the actual evidence is dominated by the use of diarrhea, generally not moxibustion; deficiency evidence is mainly appropriate to regulate the spleen and kidneys, mostly with tonic method. There is also the application of blood circulation, eliminating blood stasis, wind and circulation of Chinese medicine foot bath to achieve the effect of alleviating the disease. There are still magnetic therapy lumbar, follow the meridian massage, external cupping and other auxiliary treatment means. Traditional Chinese medicine has always believed that the treatment and regression of diseases are closely related to the patient’s own regulation and maintenance, and advocates a combination of medical treatment and patient treatment mode.
