No study has shown that Chaihu Shu Liver Pill and Jiawei Free Pill have contraindications to each other, but both have more of the same drug ingredients, in order to avoid overdose of the same drug ingredients, it is recommended that they be taken at intervals, and it is recommended that they be used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions. Chaihu Shu Liver Pill and Jiawei Free Pill have the same drug composition, for Chaihu, Angelica sinensis, white peony, Poria, licorice, mint. Taking the two medicines together may cause an overdose of the same ingredients, so it is recommended to take them at intervals. 1. Chaihu Shu Liver Pill has the efficacy of eliminating flatulence and relieving pain, soothing the liver and regulating qi. It is used for treating liver-qi discomfort, food stagnation, distension and congestion in the chest and ribs, and vomiting of sour water. 2. Jiawei Pill is effective in strengthening the spleen, nourishing blood, soothing the liver and clearing heat. It is used in the treatment of liver-spleen disharmony (inability of the liver and spleen to work in harmony), liver depression and blood deficiency (depression of liver qi and blood deficiency), distension and pain in both hypochondriacs, fatigue and poor appetite, dizziness, distension and pain in umbilical and abdominal regions, and menstrual irregularities. The adverse effects and contraindications of the above drugs are not clear, avoid cold and greasy food that is difficult to digest. Chaihu Shu Liver Pill and Jiawei Puan Pill should be used by the doctor according to the condition, identify the evidence, not blindly use their own medication.
