The ability to have a normal menstrual period after a gravid cleansing does not indicate that the recovery process is completely normal. A normal menstrual flow after cystocele is only one aspect of the recovery process that is satisfactory. The most important thing is to closely monitor the evolution of the serum HCG during the post-cleaning process, which is usually done weekly until after three consecutive negative results, then every month, and then every two months for six months. After this, the HCG is monitored for a total of one year, and the menstruation after the cleansing does not completely indicate that the gravida is completely back to normal.
