Can evb-positive lymphoproliferative disorders be cured?

EBV-positive lymphoproliferative disorders are difficult to cure completely. EBV-positive lymphoproliferative disorders refer to lymphoproliferative disorders associated with EBV infection. Lymphoproliferative disorders, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia and small lymphocytic lymphoma, are malignant diseases of the hematological system and are difficult to be cured completely. Most of the lymphoproliferative diseases progress slowly, and the survival period of patients is longer compared with that of hematologic malignant diseases such as acute leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Moreover, most patients can be left untreated in the early stages of the disease. When these patients show progressive hematopoiesis (severe anemia, thrombocytopenia, etc.), progressive enlargement of the spleen, and a significant increase in lymphocytes within a short period of time, combination chemotherapy (e.g., BR regimen chemotherapy) and molecular targeted therapy (ibrutinib, etc.) may be used. It is recommended that the patient should visit the Department of Hematology in a timely manner so that the specialist can decide when to start the treatment and formulate an individualized treatment plan according to the patient’s condition.
