How large a cervical cyst is considered normal

A normal cervical cyst is the size of a grain of rice and is within 1 cm. Cervical cysts belong to chronic cervical inflammation. Cysts are formed mainly due to blockage of the opening of the cervical glands, and the fluid cannot be discharged and is depressed, usually rice-grain sized and scattered, and can protrude from the surface of the cervix, which can be checked by ultrasound. If a woman’s body is more resistant or if she uses anti-inflammatory drugs in time, the cyst will usually disappear soon. If the cyst does not disappear or slowly increases, it can be observed for 2-3 months without any physical abnormality; however, if the cyst continues to grow larger and induces abdominal pain and menstrual irregularities, it needs to be examined in time, and those over 5cm need to be surgically removed and pathological tests should be done.
