Cervical cysts multiforme can be treated with medication and surgery. It is mainly due to the blockage of the glandular ducts caused by frequent inflammatory stimulation of the cervix, producing secretions that are not easily discharged and forming cysts. Different treatments are used depending on the size of the cyst, the rate of growth and whether it is prone to inflammation, most of them are benign. For small cysts that do not cause discomfort, no treatment is needed for the time being, and they are reviewed regularly. If they cause inflammation and congestion and increased leucorrhea, anti-inflammatory drugs are used. For larger cysts or very rapid growth in a short period of time, malignant changes are suspected and early surgery should be considered. A pathological examination must be done before surgery to exclude malignancy more assured.
