Therefore, the following aspects should be noted when pumping ascites: first, pumping ascites in small amounts and in different times; second, timely replenishment of electrolytes and albumin; third, therapeutic drugs can be injected into the abdominal cavity after pumping ascites to control ascites generation; fourth, strict aseptic operation should be carried out when pumping ascites to avoid infection.
