Is yin deficiency fire wind-cold or wind-heat?

Yin deficiency and fire exuberance (deficiency of Yin and essence in the body, resulting in hyperactive fire) is neither wind-cold nor wind-heat; Yin deficiency and fire exuberance is a separate condition. The causes of Yin Deficiency and Exuberant Fire are mostly found in over-exertion, old age and prolonged illness, and too much sexual intercourse. The symptoms of Yin Deficiency and Fire Exuberance occur when the Yin fluid cannot meet the needs of the body and the ability to restrain Yang Heat is reduced. Symptoms of yin deficiency and fire exuberance include dizziness, tinnitus, warmth in the hands and feet, heatiness in the heart and chest, hot flashes, night sweats (sweating abnormally after going to sleep and stopping after waking up), red tongue, scanty moss, and thin pulse (pulse becomes narrower, thinner, and quicker in rate). There is no direct relationship between yin deficiency and fire exuberance and wind-cold and wind-heat. Yin deficiency and fire is not directly related to wind-cold and wind-heat. The treatment of Yin deficiency and fire is mostly through the method of nourishing Yin and cathartic fire.
