Do breast nodules go away on their own?

  Breast nodules do not go away on their own; they are solid inside. Cysts are water inside and can eliminate on their own, while nodules are more like stones and cannot heal on their own.  Patients who develop breast nodules should go to the hospital immediately to identify the cause. If it is a hyperplastic nodule, the breast may be able to completely revert after the end of the menstrual cycle and the nodule can be reduced and recede with outside treatment.
