Can penile cancer be life-threatening?

Penile cancer is a malignant tumor with relatively low incidence rate and its malignancy is often low. However, if penile cancer is not treated after diagnosis, most of them will die within 2 years, especially when distant metastases appear, it is often incurable. Only through a combination of surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy can we try to control the growth of tumor and prolong life, but eventually penile cancer will still be life threatening.
