Male 28 years old with loss of vision, headache and decreased sexual function. Six months ago, an occupancy in the saddle area was detected and conservative treatment was recommended by an external hospital. The symptoms worsened and drowsiness appeared. Diagnosis: glioma in the saddle area with hydrocephalus. Most of the tumor was removed by coronal cut right frontal craniotomy. Good postoperative recovery, pathology: hairy cell astrocytoma (grade 1); benign.
