Hemangiomas include superficial hemangiomas and deep hemangiomas, with the former mainly appearing as bright red plaques and the latter dominated by skin elevations. Hemangiomas have their own characteristics in the period of occurrence, proliferation and regression. 1. Superficial hemangioma (1) Occurrence stage. Hemangiomas may occur in any part of the body, most commonly in the skin of scalp, face, chest and back, and often grow rapidly within 1~12 months after birth. Hemangiomas are bright red when they first develop. (2) Proliferative stage. During the first year of life, the red patches of hemangioma will grow rapidly and the color will gradually deepen from bright red. (3) Fading phase. At the beginning of regression, the hemangioma changes from bright red to dark purple, and is in the form of a blossom before regression; after the completion of regression, changes such as scarring, skin laxity and atrophy may occur. 2. Deep hemangioma. It is mainly manifested as the surface elevation of local skin, and the color may be the normal color of skin, or translucent blue. It is recommended that patients with hemangioma should consult the doctor in time, and the doctor will carry out individualized treatment according to the location, type, depth and age of the hemangioma.
