  Emotional cross-leggedness syndrome is a syndrome of unknown etiology and still inconsistent treatment. Etiology and pathogenesis The etiology is unclear and is currently thought to be related to local irritation and inflammation of the vulva.  Diagnosis 1. Symptoms Infants and toddlers with this disease often present as rubbing their legs together with their legs inward in the arms of their parents, or tucking a quilt, pillow or clothing between their legs to squeeze their external genitalia. (2) Chinese medicine treatment (1) Yin deficiency and fire (1) Symptoms: high number of crossed legs rubbing movements, dry throat and mouth, five heartburn, night sweating, dry stools, red tongue with little coating, thin pulse.  (2) Treatment: Nourish Yin, submerge Yang and clear heat.  (3) Remedy: Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan plus or minus, composed of 10 g of raw earth, 6 g of Zhi Mu, 10 g of Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, 10 g of raw yam, 6 g of Phellodendron, 10 g of Ze Xie, 20 g of raw keel, 20 g of raw peony. (2) Damp-heat infusion (1) Symptoms: frictional movements, itchy vulva, or yellow vaginal discharge, red tongue, yellow greasy coating, slippery pulse.  (2) Treatment: Clearing away damp-heat.  (3) Formula: Gentian and liver diarrhea soup with addition and subtraction, composed of 6g of gentian herb, 10g of dioscorea, 6g of chrysanthemum, 10g of zedoary, 6g of cypress, 6g of atractylodes, 10g of scutellaria, and 10g of psyllium (package).  3, local treatment Those with inflammation of the vulva or vagina can use Jie Tong Yin lotion to sit in a bath and wash externally.
