How long can you live with advanced liver cancer?

The survival period of advanced liver cancer is about six months to one year. Advanced liver cancer may have internal metastasis, or the diameter of liver cancer is so large that metastasis to the lymph nodes in the liver portal vein, portal vein thrombosis, or even distant metastasis may occur. Usually, surgery cannot be performed for radical treatment because the mass is so large that the mass cannot be completely cut or the lymph nodes cannot be cleared, and chemotherapy or interventional treatment, as well as symptomatic treatment are usually required. If the patient’s disease history progresses further, the tumor will increase in size and spread further, and distant metastasis and peritoneal metastasis may occur, and the patient may develop cachexia, anemia, hypoproteinemia, ascites, which may seriously endanger the patient’s life.
