What diseases does MMR prevent?

MMR vaccine is used to prevent three diseases: measles, mumps and rubella. MMR vaccine is composed of live attenuated measles, mumps and rubella viruses, and is a live attenuated vaccine that can stimulate the body to develop immunity against measles, mumps and rubella viruses at the same time. MMR vaccine is used for the prevention of measles, mumps and rubella in susceptible people aged 12 months and above. Adverse reactions such as fever, syncope, headache, pancreatitis, diarrhea, vomiting, mumps, and nausea can occur in children after MMR vaccination. MMR vaccination should be avoided in people with a history of traumatic brain injury, personal or family history of convulsions, or other symptoms caused by fever. For MMR vaccination, it is recommended to follow the vaccination program on time.
