Acute cerebral ischemic and hypoxic diseases 1. Ischemic cerebrovascular disease: cerebrovascular blockage caused by various reasons, such as transient ischemic attack, cerebral infarction (cerebral embolism, cerebral thrombosis), resulting in cerebrovascular dysfunction. In the study of “Capital Medical Development Research Fund Project”, our department has shown that hyperbaric oxygen can effectively reduce the sequelae and complications and improve the survival quality of patients. According to the literature, the total efficiency of hyperbaric oxygen therapy can reach 91.6%. 2. Cerebral hemorrhage (within 3 weeks to 3 months after the disease): the incidence of cerebral hemorrhage accounts for 20-30% of strokes. If the patient’s condition is stable 3 weeks after cerebral hemorrhage, but hemiplegia, aphasia, etc. are left in different degrees, hyperbaric oxygen therapy is feasible. For many years, our department has used hyperbaric oxygen therapy for patients with early cerebral hemorrhage, which can promote comatose patients to wake up, restore intelligence and limb function, and greatly improve the quality of life of patients. Our department’s experience and literature reports that the total efficiency of hyperbaric oxygen therapy can reach 96.5%.
