Why regular gynecological examinations are necessary

  Regular gynecological examinations can screen for diseases without obvious symptoms, such as fibroids, vaginal masses, cervical inflammation and cervical cancer or early cervical precancerous lesions (also called CIN) in a timely manner.  The gynecological examination includes a detailed history of gynecological diseases, menstrual history of marriage and childbirth, choice of contraceptive methods, physical examination including: vulvar development, vaginal condition, cleanliness and inflammation, cervical appearance and retention of cervical exfoliated cells for cervical cancer prevention examination (usually called TCT), position, size and mobility of the uterus and bilateral adnexa, such as the presence of masses and pressure pain.
