Carpal tunnel syndrome is mostly seen in older women. The main manifestations are numbness of the fingers on the half side of the thumb, index finger, middle finger and ring finger, weakness of thumb movement, and a history of numbness awakening at night, which is relieved by shaking the hand, and muscle atrophy between the big fish in long time. Numbness of the fingers can be caused by percussion on the palmar side of the wrist. Early treatment can be conservative: wrist brace fixation, application of nerve-nourishing drugs, closure, etc. If conservative treatment is ineffective, surgery is feasible, and nowadays, we advocate early surgery. We now adopt small incision to treat carpal tunnel syndrome, the incision is only about 3cm long, and we have achieved good results. Because of the advantages of small trauma and complete loosening, it is the most advanced surgical method now.
