Side effects of Dinggui navel patch

Dinggui’s navel patch is commonly used as an adjunct to the treatment of pediatric abdominal pain and diarrhea as a health care drug, so there are few reports of clinical adverse reactions. The side effects I am going to talk about today mainly refer to the reactions that may be caused by the unreasonable use of the drug. In clinical practice, DINGGUI’s navel patch has been used for abdominal pain after painless colonoscopy, DINGGUI’s navel patch has been used in combination with Spleen and Intestinal Tonic to treat irritable bowel syndrome and reduce the recurrence rate of acute intussusception in infants and children, and Similac has been used in combination with DINGGUI’s navel patch to treat gastrointestinal reaction caused by erythromycin. No significant side effects have been reported, probably based on the fact that the drug is mainly used as an adjunctive treatment and the external absorption of the navel patch avoids the first-pass effect of the liver, thus enhancing the bioavailability of the drug and reducing gastrointestinal and systemic adverse effects. It should be reminded that dinggui navel patch is an adjuvant treatment for all kinds of pain and should not be used alone but in combination with the condition to improve abdominal pain symptoms.
