Menstruation for ten days without stopping to take what medicine

The normal menstrual period is between 3-7 days, if it exceeds 7 days, it is a prolonged menstrual period. The need for medication and the specific medication used will depend on the specific case and cannot be generalized. In case of occasional prolonged periods, it is necessary to consider whether there is strenuous exercise or heavy physical labor during and before the menstrual period. In addition, if the prolonged menstruation is caused by the patient’s use of blood-stasis-boosting herbs, contraceptives and anticoagulant drugs, the menstruation can usually be restored to normal by discontinuing the drugs. If the above conditions have been ruled out, the patient may have gynecological diseases such as dysfunctional uterine bleeding, cervical polyps, endometrial polyps, fibroids, etc. Patients need to go to the hospital for gynecological examination, ultrasound to check the uterus and ovaries, check endocrine, etc., and then carry out symptomatic treatment, not blindly using hemostatic drugs.
