Ultrasound hepatic hemangioma means that a hemangioma on the liver has been detected on ultrasound. It needs to be examined after other diseases have been ruled out, and usually requires no special treatment, or surgical intervention if there are obvious symptoms or other complications are possible.
The diagnosis of hepatic hemangioma on ultrasound is usually confirmed, but it is also necessary to exclude the diagnosis in combination with the patient’s history of hepatitis and the results of tumor markers to avoid misdiagnosis.
Further relevant examinations, such as enhanced CT or MRI, can provide more accurate information. Typical hemangioma will appear to strengthen from the periphery to the center.
If there are no obvious symptoms, there is usually no special treatment, and regular review is recommended. If the tumor causes abdominal pain, abdominal distension and other symptoms, or continues to grow more than 10 centimeters, then it is recommended to consult a professional physician in a regular hospital for surgical intervention, usually recommending partial hepatectomy, segmental hepatectomy and so on.
