Why does nephrogenic oedema appear on the face?

Nephrogenic oedema is characterised by a tendency to occur in areas of the body with loose tissue, and the face has more loose tissue, so nephrogenic oedema often starts in the face, mostly spreading from the eyelids to the face, and can spread rapidly throughout the body in severe cases. The oedema is soft and mobile, so it needs to be distinguished from oedema caused by other diseases.
