The examination of thyroid nodules mainly includes thyroid ultrasound, neck CT, chest X-ray and other items. The blood system examination is mainly based on thyroid function examination. Routine examination is based on thyroid ultrasound. Ultrasound examination is not damaging and has a good diagnostic effect on the size, shape, structure, softness and hardness of thyroid nodules and their relationship with surrounding tissues, which can initially determine the condition of thyroid nodules. For nodule-like lesions found, a thyroid function test can be considered to determine the function of the thyroid gland and to understand the lesion of the thyroid nodule before considering whether to proceed with related treatment. For suspected malignant thyroid lesions, biopsy can be considered, using a puncture needle to take a partial biopsy of the thyroid gland for pathology and laboratory examination to clarify the final diagnosis. Then, according to the surrounding metastases, choose the appropriate treatment plan. In conclusion, ultrasound and thyroid function tests are the first choice for the examination of thyroid lesions, followed by other tests.
