What are the dangers of hyperuricemia?

If hyperuricemia is left untreated, the uric acid that has accumulated in the body will not be completely dissolved over time and will tend to accumulate and crystallize in the joints and other tissues and organs, causing gout and other diseases. When uric acid accumulates in the kidneys and crystallizes, it can cause urinary tract stones and kidney function damage. In addition to this, patients with hyperuricemia usually have a combination of hypertension, abnormal lipid metabolism (hyperlipidemia) and many other lifestyle diseases. It also tends to cause vascular atherosclerosis. Please visit the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology in time.
