What is intense pulsed light therapy?

Intense pulsed light (also known as photorejuvenation) is visible light with a wavelength of 420nm or more. Through selective photothermal effect, it destroys capillaries and melanin particles to reduce redness and discoloration, and can promote the regeneration of new collagen and elastic fibers, thus relieving fine wrinkles and making the skin glowing. In foreign countries, this method is not only a treatment, but is often used as a regular facial treatment. It can be understood as a “photonic mask”.       As a broad spectrum laser, IPL can be used to address many facial problems such as superficial capillary dilation, red marks of acne, freckles, age spots, enlarged pores, fine wrinkles, etc.
