What are serum enzymatic alterations?

Enzymes are special proteins that are made by living cells and are extremely efficient catalysts. The liver is the most enzyme-rich organ in the body. When there is substantial damage to the liver, some enzymes escape from it, such as ALT. Some enzymes are retained in the blood due to liver malfunction, such as ALP. Some enzymes are produced less in hepatocellular lesions, such as cholinesterase. Some enzymes are increased in lesions, such as monoamine oxidase. Therefore, changes in the activity of serum enzymes can help reflect the pathological state of the liver and is one of the common methods of liver function tests. Acute carbon monoxide poisoning (ACMr) leads to hypoxemia, which can cause hypoxia in the brain, heart, liver and other systems, causing not only specific changes in the electrocardiogram, but also significant changes in serum intoxicology. Quickly move the patient to a place with fresh air, bed rest, keep warm, and keep the airway open.
