The patient is 46 years old and was found to have a mesenchymal tumor of 1.2 X 1.5 in the large turn of the gastric sinus by gastroscopy in 2007. I was advised to have an ultrasound gastroscopy to see how long it would grow so that I could have surgery under gastroscopy. The reason is that the mesenchymal tumor grows in the lower layer of the stomach and there are two things about gastroscopic surgery: 1) the mesenchymal tumor will not be removed cleanly and will grow; 2) there is a risk of perforation if more is removed. The doctor recommends doing a gastroscopy once a year to observe. Not long do not do surgery. The actual fact is that you can’t get a lot of money from the company. If you have a long stomach, you will have to do a gastrectomy. I am afraid that the mesenchymal tumor will not become malignant after a long time in the stomach. The doctor said there is nothing to be treated. I recently had to do a gastroscopy to see the mesenchymal tumor. I don’t know what kind of gastroscopy is better to do to observe. I’d like to choose painless gastroscopy without pain if I don’t need to do ultrasonic gastroscopy.
