What are the symptoms of malaria?

The main symptoms of malaria are high fever, profuse sweating and sudden chills, accompanied by headache, weakness of the limbs and generalized aches and pains. The symptoms can be divided into incubation period, chills, fever and sweating. 1. Incubation period: the first infected person usually has irregular low-grade fever, headache, fatigue and loss of appetite. 2. Chill phase: mainly manifested as chills, generalized chills, pallor, muscle pains and generalized shivering. 3. Fever stage: the patient’s body temperature rises rapidly, can reach 40 degrees Celsius, and nausea and vomiting, restlessness, convulsions, severe pain symptoms. 4. Sweating period: the face and palms begin to sweat, and then the whole body sweats profusely, usually after two or three hours, the body temperature decreases. If the patient is not feeling well, he/she should consult a doctor for a clear diagnosis.
