The diagnosed children will come to Beijing in batches to receive surgical treatment in our cardiovascular surgery department. The “Guizhou Tour” is planned to help 150 children with precocious heart disease from poor families. The training session on common heart diseases in children is an innovation of this “Guizhou Tour”. The training will help local primary care doctors to improve the techniques of early detection, early treatment and early prevention of childhood precocious heart disease, which will play an active role in improving the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The training should also be incorporated into regular screening activities in the future. Respecting life and caring for children will keep children in poor mountainous areas free from disease and bring happiness to poor families.
