The latest issue of the Journal of Clinical Hepatobiliary Diseases published an article by Prof. Shenglong Ye from the Department of Hepatology and Oncology, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University: Current Challenges in Liver Cancer Research. Abstract:Primary liver cancer is a common malignant tumor with increasing incidence and mortality. In recent years, clinical research on primary liver cancer has been making great progress, but still faces serious challenges. The current advances and challenges in primary liver cancer research are reviewed in the areas of molecular typing and basic stem cell research, pathology and clinical diagnosis, clinical staging, surgical treatment, local area therapy, molecular targeted therapy, systemic chemotherapy, portal vein thrombosis therapy, antiviral therapy, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis and treatment, and multimodal comprehensive therapy.
