Is non-squamous cell significance unclear as cervical cancer?

The presence of atypical squamous cells on liquid-based cytology during cervical cancer screening is not clear and does not indicate cervical cancer, but rather cervical HPV testing. If the HPV test is negative, it can be rechecked again in 3-6 months. If high risk HPV infection is present, colposcopy should be recommended to perform multi-point biopsy of the cervix under colposcopy to further send pathology for clear diagnosis to exclude precancerous lesions and cervical cancer. Cervical pathology examination to exclude precancerous lesions or cervical cancer, regular cervical cancer screening should be sufficient. In case of younger women, preventive vaccination against cervical cancer is recommended. Women should keep their vulva clean and hygienic and take appropriate physical exercise to strengthen their body resistance to prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer.
