What should I pay attention to in my liver cancer diet?

Diet is very important to liver cancer patients. A reasonable diet is not only helpful to reduce symptoms, enhance body functions and improve resistance, but also to have appetite for eating is somehow an encouragement and incentive to liver cancer patients, especially those with advanced liver cancer, so that they feel confidence and hope for survival. Then how should liver cancer patients take diet care? There are the following principles: 1. Liver cancer patients consume a lot and have symptoms of indigestion such as loss of appetite, nausea and abdominal distension, so they must ensure sufficient nutrition. Therefore, liver cancer patients should eat easily digestible food, eat less and more meals, and pay attention to food matching and diversification of diet to achieve the full range of color, aroma and taste, so as to promote appetite. 2.Give high protein and high calorie diet. Liver cancer patients should eat more protein-rich food, especially high-quality protein, such as lean meat, eggs, beans and milk, to prevent the decrease of albumin. However, in the late stage of liver cancer, when liver function is not good, protein intake should be controlled so as not to induce hepatic encephalopathy by excessive protein intake. Therefore, liver cancer patients should not eat fatty foods, such as fatty meat, fried foods, dried fruits, sausages and other foods should be forbidden to eat. A low-fat diet can not only reduce the digestive symptoms of liver cancer patients, such as nausea, vomiting and abdominal distension, but also reduce the degree of pain in the liver area to a certain extent with less fat in the diet. 4. Eat more foods rich in vitamins and minerals. Research proves that vitamins A, C, E, K and trace elements of minerals such as selenium, magnesium, copper, magnesium and iron have certain auxiliary anti-tumor effects. Vitamins are mainly found in fresh vegetables and fruits. And trace elements are abundant in seafood and animal liver. 5.Patients with hepatocellular carcinoma mostly suffer from general weakness, soreness and weakness of limbs and poor sweating due to the injury of qi and blood, so they should mainly take foods with beneficial effect of qi and blood, such as carp soup, ginseng tea, cinnamon and turtle. Avoid eating hard and cold food. 6, for ascites patients should choose high-quality high-protein food, limit the intake of sodium, give low salt or salt-free diet. Fever patients drink more water to facilitate heat dissipation. Frequent vomiting should be temporarily fasted to avoid food stimulation of the stomach, increasing the number of vomiting and physical exertion. 7. Patients with cirrhosis are prone to rupture and bleeding of esophageal or fundic veins. Eating should be easy to digest soft food, a small number of meals. Eat less fried food, do not eat raw food, avoid hard, spicy products, avoid irritating and plant fiber food. 8.Patients in pre-hepatic coma or hepatic coma should be given a low-protein diet, with total daily protein limited to 20-40g. 9, liver transplant patients to high vitamin, low sugar, low fat, and moderate amount of high-quality protein. Eat less and more meals, mainly soft food or semi-liquid diet that is easy to digest, less fiber and less stimulation.
