Indications and contraindications for artificial insemination by husband (AIH)

  Indications for AIH: 1) male factor: including oligospermia, weak spermia, poor semen liquefaction, retrograde ejaculation, etc. 2) cervical infertility: cervical stenosis, highly flexed uterus, abnormal cervical mucus, etc. 3) immunological infertility: such as the presence of AsAb in cervical mucus and seminal plasma; 4) unexplained infertility.  Contraindications to artificial insemination by husband (AIH) 1) Female partner has obstacle to the union of sperm and egg due to tubal factor; 2) Female partner has genitourinary infection or sexually transmitted disease; 3) Female partner has genetic disease, serious physical disease, mental and psychological disorder; 4) History of birth of babies with congenital defects and confirmed to be due to female factor; 5) Female partner is exposed to teratogenic amount of radiation, poison, drugs and is in the period of action 6) the female partner has alcohol, drugs and other bad habits
