The response rate to treatment with IFN-α is influenced by many factors, including mode of transmission, age, gender, duration of infection, liver inflammatory activity, serum transaminase level, viral genotype, serum virological load, presence of cirrhosis, and history of anti-hepatitis B virus treatment. In general: 1) younger cases are better than middle-aged or older cases; 2) non-maternal-infant transmission is better than mother-infant transmission; 3) female cases are better than male cases; 4) relatively short duration of infection is better than long duration of infection; 5) HBV genotype B is better than C; 6) low serum HBV DNA level is better than high level; 7) high serum transaminase level is better than low level; 8) liver Those with high inflammatory activity are better than those with low activity; 9. Those without cirrhosis are better than those with cirrhosis; 10. Those with no history of anti-HBV drug treatment, i.e. primary treatment, are better than those with a history of anti-HBV drug treatment and drug resistance.
