  I. Dietary precautions
  In both acute and remission periods, a high purine diet such as animal offal, sardines, thick chicken soup and fish soup should be avoided. During the acute attack period, a low purine diet, mainly milk and its products, eggs, vegetables, fruits and fine grains, should be avoided. During the remission period, use foods with moderate purine content, but do not consume more than 120g of meat per day, especially not too much in one meal. The following are the purine contents of common foods.
  1.Low purine food (less than 75mg per 100g)
  Cereals and potatoes: rice, rice flour, millet, glutinous rice, barley, wheat, buckwheat, flour, cereal, potato, sorghum, corn, brown rice, barley, sweet potato, taro, starch, etc.
  Vegetables: cabbage, cabbage, mustard, celery, bok choy leaves, hollow cabbage, kale, chrysanthemum, leek, cucumber, bitter melon, winter squash, pumpkin, loofah, zucchini, cauliflower, eggplant, bean sprouts, green pepper, radish, carrot, onion, tomato, lettuce, wood ear, cauliflower, etc.
  Fruits: orange, tangerine, apple, pear, peach, watermelon, cantaloupe, banana and most other fresh fruits.
  Dairy: eggs, duck eggs, skin eggs, milk, milk powder, cheese, yogurt, condensed milk, etc.
  Nuts and others: pig blood, pig skin, sea cucumber, jellyfish skin, seaweed, red dates, raisins, fungus, honey, melon seeds, almonds, chestnuts, lotus seeds, peanuts, walnuts, peanut butter, wolfberries, tea, coffee, sodium bicarbonate, etc.
  2.Medium purine diet (75-150mg per 100g)
  Plant category: rice bran, wheat bran, wheat germ, coarse grains, green beans, red beans, flower beans, peas, vegetable beans, dried bean curd, tofu, green beans, peas, black beans, kombu, spinach, mushrooms, etc.
  Livestock meat: pork, beef, lamb, chicken, rabbit, duck, goose, pigeon, turkey, ham, and beef tongue.
  Aquatic products: eel, eel, carp, grass carp, cod, salmon, black pomfret, halibut, fish ball, shrimp, lobster, squid, crab, etc.
  3.High purine food (content greater than 150mg per 100g)
  Pork liver, beef liver, beef kidney, pork small intestine, brain, pancreas and other animal offal, white scallops, white catfish, sardines, anchovies, silver carp, herring, mackerel, dried small fish, oysters, clams and other shellfish, shiitake mushrooms, nori, asparagus, bean sprouts, thick gravy, thick chicken soup and broth, hot pot soup, yeast powder, etc.
  Second, other precautions
  1, it is recommended to eat alkaline food such as cabbage, potatoes, carrots and other fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts, milk, alkaline drinks (soda), etc.
  2.Eat less sucrose or beet sugar, fructose, honey
  3, eat less mushrooms, beans (such as lentils), purple cabbage and spinach
  4, eat less irritating food, spices irritating food such as strong wine, curry, mustard, ginger, etc.
  5, prohibit the consumption of beer and other strong wine, can drink a moderate amount of red wine
  6.Forbidden to eat fried food
  7, generally to drink warm water and alkaline water is appropriate. Adhere to the daily fluid intake in about 2500-3000mL generally advocate drinking water before bedtime, not suitable for a short period of time before meals and immediately after the meal binge drinking a large amount of water.
  8. Maintain the ideal body weight and exercise at moderate intensity for more than 30 minutes daily, with slight sweating, to prevent strenuous exercise.
  9. Allopurinol should not be taken with calcium chloride, vitamin C, potassium (or sodium) phosphate. Benzbromarone should not be used in combination with salicylates and benzosulfone.
