Gout dietary contraindications

Patients with gout should take care to limit their alcohol intake, especially beer, in their daily life. Also take care to reduce the intake of high purine foods such as animal offal, pork, beef, lamb, shellfish, anchovies, sardines and tuna.
Take care to avoid excessive consumption of smoked meat and avoid a high salt and fat diet. It is recommended that you choose healthier oils. For example, use vegetable oils instead of solid fats.
