After L2 lumbar compression fracture, it is basically difficult to recover by oneself without treatment. According to the degree of fracture, it can be categorized into general treatment, medication and surgical treatment, as follows:
1. General treatment: patients with L2 lumbar compression fracture should be absolutely bedridden, and the less serious ones need to wear a brace to protect them for about 3 months, during which the vital signs of the patients need to be continuously monitored, and they can wear a brace and get out of bed under the guidance of the doctor after 2~3 weeks of bed rest.
2. Medication: anti-inflammatory and pain relief, patients can take celecoxib and diclofenac sodium orally to reduce the stimulation of inflammatory factors at the fracture site under the guidance of the doctor. Combined with osteoporosis need to carry out anti-osteoporosis treatment, commonly used drugs are active vitamin D, bisphosphonates and so on.
3. Surgery: If the compression of the anterior column of the vertebral body exceeds 40% or the angle of kyphosis exceeds 30%, it is necessary to carry out internal fixation surgery in time.
If L2 lumbar compression fracture is diagnosed, early standardized treatment is recommended to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
