The examination methods of lung cancer are as follows: 1. If the patient is clinically suspected to have lung cancer, a CT examination of the chest can be performed for the patient. If the suspicious lesion is located in the periphery of the lung, percutaneous lung biopsy is recommended to clarify the pathology.2. If the patient has coughing sputum with blood, sputum exfoliation cytology can be performed to clarify the pathology. If the pathology is clearly defined as adenocarcinoma or squamous carcinoma, genetic testing can be performed for the patient, so as to select the appropriate targeted drugs for future standardized treatment. If the patient has small cell lung cancer, genetic testing is not available.
