How long does it take for hormone dependent dermatitis to heal on its own

Hormone dependent dermatitis usually does not heal on its own, and with symptomatic clinical treatment, it usually takes about 3 months to 2 years to heal gradually. Hormone dependent dermatitis is caused by the use of glucocorticoid creams or cosmetics or skin care products containing hormones, resulting in skin sensitivity on the face, which manifests as burning, tightness or even itching sensation on the face when encountering cold or hot stimuli or emotional excitement, along with capillary dilation, seriously affecting the patient’s quality of life. Hormone-dependent dermatitis can cause damage to the barrier function of facial skin, and after stopping the use of glucocorticoid-related preparations, the face will experience a “withdrawal reaction”. Most patients can be cured gradually only after about 3 months to 2 years of active symptomatic treatment. Most of these substances may contain hormonal ingredients, which is one of the ways to cause hormone-dependent dermatitis.
